Device Stopped Pinging Started Again and Stopped
If y'all have the fourth dimension you could attempt a Alive Linux Distro such every bit http://lxle.internet/ and if the same thing happens then y'all take a hardware event and if it does non then you have a Windows issue. If it is Windows the quickest way forward is to reinstall it.

Is it wired or wireless? Have y'all tried these devices on another machine and does information technology have the some consequence?

Both mouse and keyboard are wired. I haven't tried them on other motorcar but I tried different keyboard and mouse on this motorcar and the problem persists.

Could also be a commuter outcome (update chipset drivers). Does Event Viewer show anything?

USB? Does that PC happen to have a PS2 port?

Connecting via usb or ps2? Uninstall the usb hub drivers and completely remove the drivers from the pc. Click search devices and allow them to reinstall.

I didn't observe anything interesting there, then once more I'm not really sure what events should I be looking for.

It does and I found and older PS2 mouse and keyboard and connected information technology while still keeping the usb mouse and keyboard plugged in. It appears to be working for now but it's a bit early to tell for sure and IMHO that's more than of a workaround.

USB daughterboard failure is my approximate. You lot've probably already tried moving the devices to different USB ports but take a look at the mobo. If the forepart and rear USB ports (if the machine has them) are on unlike parts of the mobo, endeavour moving the peripherals to the other ports (rear to front end for ex). If that works, you may have a failure at the connectors themselves. If the mobo is under warranty, take it replaced.

Remove the drivers from the Device Managing director and reboot the figurer, it will reinstall automatically, see if that fixes the consequence, else problem-shoot TSRs, and then hardware.

A bad usb stick in need of reformatting volition exercise this. I institute this out the hard way. The computer always wanted to format a usb I had but it worked like a champ on every calculator EXCEPT i. On that one it flubbed up the other usb devices plugged in. Information technology could also be a motherboard issue. They way you can spot this is by opening device manager and expanding the universal serial bus icon and see if the usb connections are flickering on and off.

Try to ensure y'all're using USB 2.0 ports.
There are problems associated with wireless keyboards & mice on USB 3.ten ports that might affect your wired versions, as well.
If all you lot accept is USB 3, then connect via a USB two hub.
Might too try unplugging all other USB devices and untangling power cables from USB cables,
